Genghis Grill in Jackson

The food here is great!!! The service is even better (especially if you get one particular waiter - his name is either James or Jason). It's funny that I can't remember his name, but he knows mine and my friend's name by heart!!! And he always knows what we want to drink. We don't even go here that much either. LOL!!!

I am a vegan and they had a vegan option plus veggies. Great place if you're in the mood for it. I surely was filled with a medium sized bowl the childrens option was nice as well. Great service everything was mixed together I'm excited to come back.

Waitress tried to hand me an ink pen that she took from her hair when I didn't take it she handed me another from pocket and said " in case you have a phobia about it being in my hair". Bowls had a film of dirt and food on them, one bowl had a dried piece of chicken in it. Manager had no concern over situation. So we left, on our way out another customer was trying to scrape something off of his fork. I used to like this place a lot, and now the lack of management and concern for cleanliness prevents me from returning.

First time we ate here, and it was amazing.

Great but when I went they were out of steak and shrimp. They should have marked down meal price due to that.

Delicious. The beef bits were overcooked. But the rest was delicious. I recommend half tea, half lemonaid, and a splash of watermelon.

Waited at the door for 5 minutes to get a seat afterwards I was seated and waited over 15 without anyone serving me so I got up and left. What kind of service is this? I will never return.

Food was burnt to a crisp. Wound up leaving without eating. Overpriced as well. Do not recommend

Our food was good, not great. Service was good. Disappointed with the state of both restrooms. The womens had not towels to dry your hands after washing. The mens restroom floor was standing in water. There was a crowd that day, but we didnt wait long for our food.

My daughter and I stopped here for lunch during a road trip, and I kinda wished we lived closer so we could eat here way more often. The service was great, and the food was amazing. You are able to make your own meal by choosing you own meats, veggies, sauce, and pasta/rice in a bowl, then they will stir fry it, then serve it to you. Everything was perfectly cooked, and served with amazing quickness.

Wow this place is awesome you get alot of food for a reasonable price they give you a bowl and you fill it up with whatever you want like different meats and vegetables and the cook it for you...its cooks just right

The food is definitely worth the price. I recommend genghis for lunch or dinner. With you being able to pre fix your bowl it allows you to get exactly what you want and have it cooked exactly how you would like. I have no complaints.

Always love the service my family receives. The manager always try to make sure your visit is always great. The servers are very attentive to their guests. The food is always Good and the service is Great!!!!

We love Ghengis Grill, however this particular one is hit or miss. Today was a deff miss. No longer self serve, that's understandable. But what is not acceptable is how they handle it. My food was mixed up with someone else's sauce. I dont use their sauce, I only use the garlic water. I could barely eat it and they didnt offer me the option to fix another bowl. Food took entirely too long to cook, I'm talking 12 min after everyone else had their food & I had to ask for it 2 times. Manager literally had no appologies and said it was my fault there was sauce on it!Place was a disgusting mess. Food & trash all over floor.We will drive 30 minutes further to go to the location in Franklin/cool springs before returning to this one again. This is the 3rd visit they have messed up orders, drinks, and service has always been very slow here! Poor management. Unprofessional management. And the place is just unkept and dirty. Would not recommend this establishment.

Food was good. Service was bad. A rude waiter and slow food delivery almost made us late getting back to work.

I suggest everyone give it a try at least once. Clean restaurant, great that you can build your own bowl. Flavors match perfectly, by design, so nothing tastes disgusting. Small bowl can hold a lot of you pack it, but do yourself a favor and just get a bigger bowl to hold everything and not make a mess.

The food is awesome. You get to pick what type of meats and veggies, seasonings and sauce you want. You can make it mild or as hot as you want yourfood to be.

Waited at the seating counter for 10 min without anyone in sight. We figured it was seat yourself and we did. A woman came up after we sat down and gave us nasty attitude. She then proceeded to make us get up and seated us where "she" wanted us to sit. Waiter was quick and got us up and running in no time. We have eaten at Genghis Grills several times, but, will not eat at this one again. Did not speak to a manager; we're not the type to complain. The only problem we had was with the nasty door greeter.

Fresh ingredients. Friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant was clean with nice decor. Healthy but delicious. The way it is set up you could have a different meal each time you came.

I love the food. The service on the other hand could be improved. Went there for dinner and the waitress we had was pretty bad. It wasn't because she was too busy because there was hardly any one there. When we got our drinks, she spilled some of it and instead of cleaning it up she just handed us our drink, so it still dripped from the side. Was there for about 30 minutes and never got a refill. Would go again but try to get another waitress.

I went to lunch with my mom, dad, brother, and girlfriend for my mom's birthday. My brother order a water and the waitress put down sprite and walked off before it could be corrected, my mom was brought a drink on the rocks when requested frozen, and my girlfriend's shrimp in her bowl was under cooked. The food was not only inedible, but the server said it was probably just one piece. I had tried a bite before the sever had come over and I can confirm that it was not cooked. The under cooked food was taken off the ticket because after the bite my girlfriend completely lost her appetite. Only giving the 2 stars because it was taken off. Other than it was a horrible experience and we will not be returning

This is a great restaurant experience. You get to throw all of your favorite meats and veggies together with spices and sauces you can mix. Depending on your bowl size you get different starches and you can add egg to your meal. It’s always cooked perfectly, but the taste is up to you!

Good service and food. I definitely recommend filling your bowl until you can’t fit anymore in it, since the food shrinks when it’s cooked

Doesn't seem to be as well managed as it once was. Bathroom was a mess too. Food tastes the same though. Seems to still be same quality ingredients. I suppose my main complaint in the decline in the overall atmosphere of the place.

When they handed me the cup to put my protein in so they could cook it, I looked at it, giggled, and said that's not very big. I'm a big boy and with s healthy appetite as well! I knew without a doubt I was gonna leave this place hungry. Boy was I wrong! When they finished cooking my selection along with the noodles, I was still a little skeptical. As it turns out, there was more food there than I gave it credit for. It was all i could do to finish it. It was cooked perfectly! It made for a great date night with my girlfriend!

Our waiter was the BEST!!!!💛💛 The food was soooo good🍜🍤. Besides my kids being rude and loud😔, I loved every minute of my dinner last night☺. Plus 2 FREE dessert👌(when me&my mom signed up for the rewards 😊😆) I forgot the waiters name🤔(4 kids you cant remeber everything lol) but when I check my recipet later ill make sure I add his name...Because next time we go back I will be looking for him👌. Around $50 2 large bowls,2 drinks and 2 kid dishes&2 kid drinks. Honestly with the amount of food you get after you pack the food in,its a great price...yummy food I will be back . Thanks for a great night 😊😊....found his name (Jeremiah) I think he needs a raise, he was always checking on us and made sure we had refils before our cups were ever empty. He will be getting a way better tip next time since i was low on cash i didnt have much on me last night....

I placed an online order, waited the 20 mins suggested & my order wasn't even started on my arrival. I ended waiting another 15-20 mins. They tried to smooth things over with a free drink but I really was already irritated. In the future GG, Please check your online orders more frequently! Thx

The employees were all playing and joking upon my arrival. I sat there for 15 mins without anyone even bringing me a menu, so I left and will never come back. After reading all the complaints I am glad I left. #getittogther

One of our all-time favorite restaurants anywhere. Nowhere else do you get the selection of fresh foods made exactly to our own particular tastebuds for that very day. My wife & I just moved to this area & were so excited to have found this place! It’s right near all kinds of shopping, etc. If there was a 6th star created for these reviews, it’d be because of Genghis Grill!!
